A personal introduction
Brian Junyor
I’m a product and service executive and a Benedictine Oblate living in New Mexico.
This is a place to find my professional background and the reflections taking shape at Ordinary Things.
A life beyond a title.
My working life is in product and service leadership. Away from that work, I reflect on the ordinary responsibilities and encounters that quietly shape a life.
The Benedictine tradition informs those reflections, particularly its attention to daily work and the care we give to other people. New Mexico is home. Ordinary Things is where I share that part of my life.

Ordinary Things.
At Ordinary Things, I reflect on everyday life through a Benedictine lens. The reflections invite a slower look at what is close at hand, with room for questions that do not resolve themselves in one sitting.

A year of reflection.
My forthcoming journal, Ordinary Things: A Year of Reflection for the Life You Have, brings together 52 short reflections, each with one question to return to throughout the week and space to write.
It is an invitation to take your time. A question can stay with you as the week unfolds, and an ordinary day can give you something new to bring to it.
Keep in touch.
